Julia Grannum

Audiologist by day, champion of South African Indie authors by night.

Books have always been my sanctuary. After a brief hiatus after school, I rediscovered my love for reading during the challenges of 2020. What began as hunting for secondhand treasures evolved into launching my Bookstagram account in 2022, opening doors to an incredible community.
My reading world changed entirely in 2024 when a giveaway introduced me to the vibrant universe of South African Indie authors. Today, local indie talent makes up about 90% of my growing collection. As a dedicated member of multiple street, promotional, and ARC teams, I am on a mission to help the world discover the massive literary talent South Africa has to offer.
When I am not turning pages, I work as an Audiologist, helping people reconnect with the world through better hearing. Off the clock, you can find me volunteering with a local therapy dog association and spending time with animals.
