You are protected by copyright automatically when you write your book. Keep dated drafts, use contracts for editors, designers, and beta readers. Be cautious about sharing full manuscripts publicly. You do not need to pay for copyright registration in South Africa.

Yes, always use an NDA when working with Beta and ARC readers. See your membership pack.

Yes, we do need to be registered. We provide our members with an overview guideline of the requirements but always recommend that you speak with a qualified tax practitioner to ensure you are tax compliant.
