The Electric King: A dystopian thriller set in 2052 where a tyrannical AI named King Cyrus rules a divided world. Available on Amazon and Takealot.
The E-17 Project: A series featuring high-stakes AI-themed stories, including titles such as Interview with Things and Invisible Fingers.
Invisible Fingers: A novel centered on a girl who discovers she is part human, part machine, exploring the “Rise of Transhumanism”.

This novel really serves as a warning for what could be. It made me think of the novel 1984 melded with Skynet from the Terminator movies. Although based in fiction, there is so much in parallel with our present world: AI nanobot microchips = proposed digital ID ; a singular electric king = unelected globalist leaders; authoritarian rule = mandates/ lockdowns imposed by bureaucracy. I was immediately pulled in to the story of Scarlet and her fight against the system. She embodied many of the values that humanity cherishes: family, caring, moral and ethical behavior, individualism, truth and selfless accountability. With a support of other team members and “indigents” this story of resilience took a path of its own. In the end, it was satisfying and frightening at the same time, imagining the next steps for this world. Afterwards, I found I was reflecting on concepts of forced conformity, electronic restriction/monitoring, blindly following globalist rules versus democracy, threats to individualism and autonomy – all of which serve as a wake up call for what we presently stand to lose if not lost already. A great read to trigger deeper thoughts into issues of today!
